Compliance and Screening

Many of our clients require us to screen all candidates whereas some just require a percentage of candidates to be screened. And within that, some clients require the screening to be completed before the individual is allowed on site whereas many others allow the individual to start in parallel with the screening process although they obviously reserve the right to request the immediate removal of an individual from site if the results are not acceptable when received. Our standard Service Provider Agreement with candidates allows us to exercise immediate termination in such cases. The requirements set by our clients can also differ in terms of the period the screening has to cover, usually 2 references (standard) or 5 years’ (advanced) worth of employment history. This can also depend on the role as clients often have different level of screening requirements linked to the responsibilities and access rights associated with the role. Despite it not always being a requirement, TORI starts the screening process for every candidate as soon as we know that there is a realistic likelihood that they will be placed with a client and we do not wait until that engagement is confirmed. Our standard practice is to screen all candidates for a two reference period unless otherwise requested by the client. A breakdown of what is covered by our process is given below: Standard
